How it stacks up
FAQ
Will AHJs accept the Permit Summary tab?
The Summary tab is formatted with required fields (load calc, demand factor, NEC citation, calculated continuous load) the way most AHJs in the US expect to see them. Some jurisdictions still require a stamp from a licensed PE for service upgrades; check your local rules.
Updated for NEC 2026?
Yes. 220.82, 625.42, and 705.12(B)(3) reflect the 2026 edition. Includes both 2023 and 2026 reference tabs.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. Google Sheets app on iOS and Android both render the workbook correctly. Excel mobile too. Tap the yellow cells, type your input, the workbook recalculates.
You have the load calc covered. The 2026 NEC also expanded AFCI to all branch circuits and GFCI to indoor sinks, outdoor 60A outlets, and outdoor HVAC (Sept 1, 2026). Bid templates, room-by-room checklists, customer disclosure letter.
